We met at a dinner organized by friends, where her family had invited me. What was supposed to be a normal evening quickly turned into us getting completely lost in conversation. Somewhere between stories about Uganda, life, and everything in between, something just clicked. Speaking our local language, laughing the entire night, it felt easy, natural, and the start of something special.

What followed was almost three years of dating, a lot of fun, and slowly realizing this wasn’t just a connection, it was love. The kind that grows quietly over time, through shared moments, laughter, and showing up for each other every day.

On December 20, 2025, at the beautiful Lucky Arrow Retreat, we got engaged and began the next chapter of that love.
